The strongbacks are 40' long. Initially I will build the pods, which require a smaller width, but still need the length. Since the plans are designed well, I used the same strongback and frames for both sides. When the first one is done, I simply turn all the stations around and start on the other side. In the meantime the finished pod could be stored outside.
Temps for initial workup, framing, foam stripping, etc needs space and materials at higher than 55degrees. For fiberglassing, it should be a steady 65-75 to avoid problems. The temp should not fluctuate to avoid issues with air bubbles/condensation until final cure. It is recommended to have the materials and epoxy at use temp for 48hrs prior and for 7 days after final epoxy coat.
An enclosed area inside an old barn would be great.. The one person I knew who had a space like this is moving!
