Well - we've got a date set. We'll be rolling out of Milwaukee on June 8th. I have every intention of keeping the site going and plan on contributing my sailing photos after I pick up a little trailer sailor for the reservoirs and lakes out there.

I'd be much obliged to anyone that can get me out on a boat before I leave town

Sorry to see you go, Chris! As for an outing... I'm still amazed that I've not yet launched. Just can't seem to get motivated to do the finishing touches and launch her. Oh, well, finally picked up some hull paint, now if I can just motivate myself to do some sanding, I'll get you out there.

The sailing center opens tomorrow. Come sail with me. I'll be at the docks at 1:00. If it's too windy, I'll be working on my boat. . .

I got an email from Rhett a week or two ago. The boat is still out of the water in Kentucky Lakes, but he'll be returning to it soon I believe. His plans are still to get her down to FL, fit her out and head across the Atlantic. Pretty damn cool! There was a news article published in some small town that he passed through about late fall sailors making their way down the Mississippi. He apparently met up with another guy that was doing the same thing.

Thing I love about that guy.. he wastes no time dreaming... He just does it. Pretty cool

I'll miss being a local, but I fly back to MKE every 6 weeks for work. I'll be planning some outings as I'll be wife and kidless.
