Looks like they finally did the work to get the site up and running. Finally. A nice, good thing that they did it this early in the spring so as to provide us with weather data throughout the upcoming summer!

Hmmm. I wonder what time of year in 2012 the world will end (they always leave out those details).....if it's before sailing season then next year could be the last season. Good to have local NOAA site though. Do you have a link you want to share?

If you go to SailFlow, and choose the Chicago Area, and the Milwaukee Buoy, you can also get the wind data, with actual speed and direction and a prediction all in one graph. I believe that is the same data (with less detail) as in Gary's link.
