Not today. Spending most of the day scrubbing the deck. The spiders have been having a feast aloft and the deck looks like they need some serious potty training. Got some Starbrite Bird & Spider Stain Remover from worst marine and that stuff is the bomb!!! I wish the stuff came in a 55 gallon drum as it melts all the Sxxt spots away.

SSYC night race to Port Washington friday with a five YC fun regatta on Sunday. Marilyn and I will take Witchcraft up on Friday morning, I'll head back for the race(s) on Friday/Saturday aboard SnakeBite and then it will be a slow cruise back on Sunday aboard Witchcraft.

Did Port last weekend with the SSYC cruising club and had a great time! Sailing back into S/SSE wind was a real hoot.

Chirp chirp, indeed.
No sailing lately for me. Son was born last Friday morning, which meant that the Wednesday night SSYC races had been on hold for a couple of weeks in front of and after that event. Might get up to Fond du Lac this weekend to get out on my Rebel, White Dog. Let's hope so!!

The spiders have gone crazy here. I scrubbed my whole boat last weekend...and this weekend it looks like I hadnt touched it all year.

How do they get on board? And how do they get so big? (well duhh obviously by eating a lot of flies)

I thought I had a cricket on board but found out it was just a piece of bimini hardware vibrating in the wind.

There is nothing half so worth doing as simply messing about in boats

GUY, I'd still be well pleased to play around on Fungi with you... what're your expected sail times on those days? Let me know if it sounds good, and I'll see if I can coordinate my sail time to match yours?

Whaaaa Hoooooo -

Marilyn and I brought Witchcraft up to Port Washington Friday morning, I drove back to crew on SnakeBite (`82 Pearson Flyer) for the Friday night SSYC race from Milwaukee to Port Washington. 21.5 miles of 20-30 knot winds. What a ride and we took second in our division. 3 hours, 11 minute.

Saturday was more of the same for a five YC, two race regatta off Port Washington. By 7 PM the wind disappeared and waters here are like a sheet of glass. Hope we have some winds again tomorrow as it gets kinda boring to motor Witchcraft all the way back.

Sunday was a great sail back to Milwaukee on Witchcraft. A little chilly but we had 15-20 knot winds out of the SSE. Made the whole trip back on only four tacks to Bradford Beach.
