If anyone's interested in creating a photo gallery, I'm trying out a new photo gallery application. PM me if you're interested in trying it out. I'd like to hear the feedback and see how well it works. It's another try at user managed galleries... which is scary because it's a security risk. I have to elevate your rights manually to allow it. Let me know if you're interested in trying it out!

The easiest way to do this is still to have a picasa gallery and just manage all your photos there. This gallery gives the option to either host images on picasa or upload your own to my server. So people who don't want to mess with picasa can still upload images this way.

You are still savvy. It's me that has to do the linking of the two. I think it can be done by you if I give you rights to manage a gallery which I will do if you'd like.

What's the link to your picasa gallery? As long as the gallery is publicly available, I can set it up for you the first time through.

Just checking out the New test gallery and noticed it brought over my pics but not the captions as they appear in the current gallery.

Okay -- I linked up your picasa gallery with your gallery here. Looks like it's working. I also saw you created a category. Let me know how this works for you. I authorized the category.. I'm still not sure how well this will work... that's why it's still "TEST"

I'm interested to hear feedback on how easy, or not easy, this thing is to use. The easiest thing to do is just manage all your pictures in Picasa and I'll just link new galleries as you do the same in picasa...
