Hello everyone Nauticat is in the water and went for her shake down sail yesterday. I was a little rusty and ran the jib sheets the wrong way for the first time. After we got the little kinks out it was a nice sail from the MCSC to our mooring at South Shore. Our dog fell into the water trying to get onto the boat at the MCSC pier his eyes got real big when he went under and came back he still had his leash and harness on so my wife just yanked him out of the water by that. He was one wet miserable little dog.

Good for you, Wayne! I admit to a little envy, what with my mast still not stepped. I understand being a little winter rusty, which is why I like my first couple of sail outings each year to be mild/moderate air, vice heavier air.

We'll have to hook up sometime, let me know how to find your mooring, and I can sail down pick you up for a reciprocal sail and vice-versa.
