Hi, Folk just dropping by to say hello, I was looking for some ideas for sailing the west coast of Canada or Alaska in a few years time ( plenty of planning to do) and found this site, when I have a bit more time I will do a bit more browsing. If any of you have any good ideas for above mentioned please feel free to get in touch. If you are coming to the UK I'll get some ideas for you( just the weather is so unpredictable over here) All the best for the new year. Safe sailing.

Welcome to our zoo. I hope we have ANY knowledge useful to you. I've done a little sailing out pf Victoria (San Juans, then on to Vancouver. To even dream of the whole inside passage sounds wonderful.

There is nothing half so worth doing as simply messing about in boats

Welcome Sean!

Nice to have you on. We are on the Great Lakes, Lake Michigan in particular. I don't have any Atlantic coastal sailing experience myself. Although it is in the ten year plan to make a crossing and sail in the Med with the family.

We'd love to hear more about your experiences over there though. Pics are always appreciated too

Welcome!

Hey Sean,

The photo gallery is driven off of your own photo galleries with picasa or flickr and a number of other hosted solutions. If you have a flickr account, picasa, or any others let me know and I'll add it to our gallery.

Nice shots!

I recently read "Fastnet Force 10" which I know referenced "Scilly". Quite the story!

Do you have a boat Sean?

I Havent got a boat but am a member of a club and have the charter of 4 boats around the UK. They range from a 26FT bilge keel to a 40Ft warrior. Will get a photo gallery link set up over the nxt few days and give you a shout when its sorted. Heres another pic, last year sailing around part of Wales and to the Isle Of Man. Posing for the lens....Cool. It was cold on a 50ft Beneteau
