This forum is a great idea. I sure hope this works. I'm very computer challenged and this is the first time I've ever "blogged". If that is in fact what you call it. Never the less, given a little time I'm sure I'll get up to speed.

In the meantime, cold enough for you?. How many days till the Sailing Center docks go in?

My advise for helping the winter pass is to start a large project on your boat. Something that once you start, it has to be completed before you can go sailing. A project large enough that there is a good chance you won't complete it before spring. You'll be amaized at how fast winter will pass.

One last thing for openers. How am I supposed to write here without "Spell Check"

As far as spell check goes if you use Mozilla Firefox as your web browser (in place of Microsoft explorer) it has spell check built into it. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/ Also it is free.

I'm thinking about replacing the standing rigging on the boat. I was going to have you do it this year but I'm thinking next winter would be best (been crazy getting ready to retire).
