So.. how fast should this be dripping?

Seems pretty fast to me...

Its hard to see, just watch the small puddle ..

Can this be repaired/replaced in the water or is it a haulout job?

after doing more research, I guess this can be adjusted to 1 drip per minute or so when not moving... could have looked it up first.

Video looked more like a trickle, than a drip. Either way, guess you're all wet, Zack!

Zach, that is obviously more than it should be.

I have the wrench's required to adjust packing nuts. If you want to meet up sometime we can give it a go.

I'm available just about any time this week. On Friday afternoon I'll be heading up to the EAA Convention for a few days.

Well, I read up on this and how to adjust it, so now its only dripping 1 drip per 2-3 seconds. Motored out of the harbor to do some sailing and motored back in without incrasing. .I'm sure it could go more, but I don't know the age of this part or what is left inside. I'll repack or replace it with a dripless after haul out, since i have to do the cutlass bearing anyway.

PilotAlso, thanks for the offer, if it increases again before haul out, I might take you up on that offer....
