I was reading about the area you'll be traveling down the Illinois river and down to the Mississippi. Watch out for Asian Carp! It's a pretty serious problem I guess as these things jump out of the water at high speeds and hit people in the head, back and knock people overboard.

Wow, think how cool that'd be to take a ready stance with your good old wooden bat! With video, hell, maybe you could get Obama to send you a few million dollars as an economic stimulous to help clear up the Asian Carp problem!
