You actively working on Gone Ev? We'd love to see some pics of her. I don't think I've ever really seen the layout except for the ones accompanied by beer bottles near the bilge.

Beer bottles near the bilge?? Haven't made it past that stage yet.

Actually I have been doing a few things. Pulled the winches, Sliding hatch rails and hatch. Gearing up to remove the stanchions which will involve grinding glass to get to half the nuts. The hatch has a bad solar vent I have a replacement for.

Have a bunch of wood lined up to re-finish. Fenders in the basement w/ my old stock tank waiting for a bath. Tried to stuff one in the Maytag thinking I could wash one w/ each load for a couple of weeks but they don't fit.

Getting ready to start ordering rigging parts. Thinking about a thousand other things...

I'll see if I can still post pics in a bit.

Pulled the sliding hatch off which prompted a 4 day forcast of freezing rain/ice pellets/snow and winds 10-25mph all days.

Temp hatch, 3/4" sub-floor, plastic, mats. I can slide it forward and pull the boards.

I will look for some of the interior sans bottles.

That sounds cool. It would be nice to get it down, interesting to look later on also. Easy to forget how much goes into something like this. Thanks.

Edit; I will get some interior photos together in an albumn for the Gallery. I think I got hooked up w/ Piccasa but never ended up doing anything more.

With a blog you could tell us how you came to find and name the boat.. all of the interesting details. I plan to do the same for WW in the coming few days. Just have to figure out how to get it all set up so that you have rights to author your own and such.

I'll be waiting. I have often thought about having one when we go cruising. May as well start and get it figured out now.

Gotta have one of those "buy us a pizza" donation buttons.
